Granary Gourmet Dinner

    It was a delicious and elegant dinner.  In 2014 it will be on Saturday, Sept. 13, 
    at 6:00 pm.  The Rutgers football game is away that day.

    SATURDAY, September 14
    Chefs, Joshua McCracken and Erin Condo McCracken, were the chefs with assistance by Erica Pilgrim and servers: Crystal Ally, BJ Clitherow, Jillian Eller, Danelle LaFlower, Cindy Ross,  in 2013. 

    MENU for 2013

    Appetizers:  Baked Brie, Roasted Balsamic Strawberry & Goat Cheese Canape, Honey-Roasted Onion Tart, Fromage Fort, Bagettes

    Salad:  Apple Walnut with Honey Dijon Dressing

    Soup:  French Lentil Soup

    Entrée: (Vegetarian) Fricassee of Wild Mushrooms (Wild Mushrooms, Cheese sauce, and pappardelle pasta) or
    Hanger Steak with Mushrooms and Red Wine Sauce

    Vegetables: Potato Gratin with Gruyère

     Dessert: Fresh Pear Tarte

    Coffee from Café Lemont, Wine from Happy Valley Winery, Beer from Otto’s Brewery

    Bread by Ron and Sue Smith

    Many volunteers help with setting up, serving, and cleaning up, and we can host 56 diners in the Grain Elevator on Mt. Nittany Road.  This year Ecovents, with Erin Condo and Josh McCracken caterers have been hired.  There will also be a small Silent Auction.
