REPORT FROM 2023

What a wonderful afternoon on the Lemont Village Green, June 10th, 2023, made possible by over 60 volunteers, great weather, and delicious strawberries from Belleville, ice cream from Meyer Dairy, cakes provided by 55 Lemont residents and a good vibe all around. Mary Madigan, guitar and Steve Treado, guitar, played from 3-5 pm and from 5-7 pm  musicians were Jeff Gibble and Zeb Crews.  The AMAZING Jim Thorn provided sound technology.

Speeder Rides were very popular by the Bellefonte Historic Railroad all afternoon, and members of Centre Pointe Church in Lemont provided activities for children.

240 quarts of strawberries were hulled by 16 volunteers, in 2 hours on Friday evening, and six others hauled them to the fridges.

15 folks served ice cream, cake, strawberries, and lemonade, 6 people were cashiers, 4 were traffic supervisors, and 55 provided cakes.  Over 700 enjoyed the fruits of our labor.

Emma Larrabee did great face painting, and lots of folks helped clean up in 30 minutes.  DETAILS BELOW:
