Please join us for the 15th annual Lemont Christmas Market, a German-style “Weihnachtsmarkt”! The event runs Friday, December 5th, 5 pm to 8 pm & Saturday, December 6th, 10 am to 4 pm, and takes place at The Granary, 133 Mt. Nittany Road, Lemont. The indoor and outdoor Market features an entire holiday experience including local vendors, Santa, bratwursts, treats, marshmallows by a campfire, beverages, good spirits, and children’s activities. The Granary will be brimming with Christmas trimmings and is a must-see on Friday evening as the string lights draped throughout glow in the darkness of December. This festive winter market backdrop is certain to lure you into the holiday spirit. It’s a great destination to Shop Local and find the perfect, unique gift for everyone. Just before you walk in to the upper level of the granary be sure to check-out the beautiful, fresh, long-lasting, locally grown and made wreaths and swags available for purchase. There are many returning vendors and some awesome new ones too – so keep an eye out for something new as well as items you’ve always loved.
Next to the kids’ craft area on the upper level there will be a comfy children’s book-nook for relaxing nestled amongst vendors. Santa will be spreading cheer Saturday afternoon -- available for spontaneous photo-ops. For a vendor application go to the LVAwebsite, www.lemontvillage.org/ChristmasMarket https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd_LdMdfOKou8f9t8lu1GmQwby1EBD8gFrrQrNk_WaPs-lTDw/viewform?usp=header
Come dressed for the weather; there’s no heat in the granary. Grab a cup of hot cocoa or a warming German drink. Visit the beverage station downstairs, to purchase a coveted Lemont Village Association mug, then add good friends and neighbors for everything needed to start the holidays right.
All proceeds go to the restoration and maintenance of the Historic Grain Elevator and Coal Sheds. Together we can guarantee that generations to come will be able to enjoy the Granary. By Elisa Huncik, Vendor Manager
If you would like to volunteer, please use this link, https://tinyurl.com/LemontChristmasMarket2025 on the LVA website: www.lemontvillage.org sign up at the Lemont Post Office bulletin board after November 20th.
Also, for as long as we have had the Christmas Market, Alan and Kris Popovich, and sometimes family and other times employees, have created the amazing wreath on the Granary. Last year Leslie Zuck directed a volunteer crew and family members. They will be back again. Thanks very much.
CHRISTMAS MARKET 2024 was a great success, in spite of bitter cold weather. Vendors did well, customers had fun, and MANY volunteers helped.
Thank you!
